I hope everyone had a nice holiday. We did. And now it is time to get my lazy, no reason why for not training butt out the door.
I just can't. I can but I don't. :( So I have been tracking the weather and I have all my gear and I am getting ready for this trip. I am so ready, but yet I am slacking. I don't get it.
I was unable to enroll the child into the race it was full again but she is coming. Now she wants to ride her bike while we are out there. haha She doesn't want to miss it. Kid is so silly.
WWE is coming to town this week and I am not going cause I am saving my money for the trip.
Other than that nothing new here. It has been hot here. Cool in the mornings and really warm in the afternoons. So Not sure what to wear just yet.
I can not wait to go!!!!!!! Today is dragging!!!! oh the agony of it all!
And we didn't do the 5k today either. We had a slight urgent family matter and couldn't go. So no end of the year race. :(

Glad to hear from you Rae. This entire week has been dragging. I can't imagine how next week will be. I CANNOT wait! I wanna go now!
The heat has been ungodly hear. 80 degrees 2 days after Christmas? Ridiculous!
Same thing happens to me as races draw close. For some unknown reason I begin to mentally check out and coast. Don't be hard on yourself about not getting in any long runs right now. But do try to get a couple short ones in if you can.
I will be working Mon-Sun this week. So I'm in for a long slow week. I am planning to have skype open. Especially next weekend so if your online see if I'm lurking about.
I have not made a trip out for an inexpensive running outfit. If the mornings there are cold enough I suppose I should be looking into that. Just in case I would want something I can remove right before the run.

I am really new to blogging and posting on forums, so that is why I have waited so long to order a tshirt. I totally understand if all of the tees are gone. I am looking forward to meeting you and the rest of team voice next week!! My family and I arrive on the 8th, and we are all very excited!! Next week could not come any faster!!

Hey there! Glad to hear I'm not the only one having a tough time this close to the race... Ugh! Toughed out a 9miler in the cold today, but it wasn't pretty...toughest run I have had ALL year... I think we're all going to come out of this funk just fine. :-)
Got my shirt today! Love the label, very cool and I knew what it was right away. :-)
