Fun Things Are Happening

Hello out there!!! I have been working the last two days and I have been really tired after I was finished at work so I was unable to stay awake to blog.

The last 2 days,walking at work, I walked 11.21 miles.Just at work.I haven't been out training just too tired.

Back at an end of another month and man it just seems to be moving so fast.
I have a few things in the works that I will reveal later,it is to help raise money for the run.{13K}
I can't say anymore,or it will give it away. :)

Trip Report #2

Well to finish off my trip report,I walked down Main Street and did some pin trading and I saw the Chef of the Fire department ,the Mayor,and 2 of the ladies on the old fire truck.I took a picture and a man walked right in to the picture as you can see.

I went over and ate at the Bakery.Yummy goodies.I was bad and Had a huge Cinnamon bun,and a breakfast sandwich.I took a picture of the cinnamon bun.While eating I saw the morning show on Main Street.It was cute.I did some more pin trading.

I took a picture of what I saw to my left.And I rode the monorail back to Epcot and stared to head home.TOT here we come!!!!

The inside ceiling is done and the kitchen ceiling is next.We got the wall paper for the bathroom and now e need to hang it.After that I will post pictures.

Today we started back on training.Miss two weeks miss a lot.I can bearly make it to the stop sign again.{jogging} We walked 2 miles tonight.Back in the gym tomorrow. It's very humid here and there is no breeze outside.{Yuck}

Trip Report

I am back and it was busy the whole time I was there.

The morning I arrived I picked up my Mom and drove her to the hospital and I stayed there till she was all checked.Then I went back to my Dad's and spent the rest of the day with him.Then went back to pick up my Mom and brought her home,and I think I just fell asleep after that.The next day I went out and about to see how much the area grew,I walked almost 2 miles.My Dad isn't active enough for what all he sits around and eats.Anyway....Then I met my Dad back at his house and He had received his newspapers to fold.2800 to be honest.we started to fold them at 5:30 p and got done at about 9p.Not to bad.My Mom could not do them since she her arm was sore from surgery.

I left early Friday morning and drove over to Epcot.Well I was surprised at my reaction when I saw spaceship earth.NO ARM,NO WAND. My first time seeing Epcot was 2005,and it had the arm and the wand. I got over it and I ran over to Soarin.I really like that ride. It was only 9:30a and it already had a 30 minute wait.They changed the pictures on the wall ,and the music.They went from small pictures to large ones .I forgot to get pictures of that.

Then I left and rode the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. And then I took the ferry boat to the MK.I got a new transportation card.
Then I got to see something,that I have only heard about happening.Dreams being past out.I was behind this family that walked up to a cast member who had on a hat and this huge pin bag.I wanted to see his pins.I waited.{this is the first time I was there with out my family}
The cast member asked the mother of the group if the girls had lunch with the princess.She said no that is what they wanted to do today.The cast member said great do you know about the year of a million dreams they said yes and the CM said Great!!!Have lunch in the castle with the princesses on Disney.The family was standing there like no that's ok,I spoke up and said take it.He is issuing your family a wish.They took it.Then the CM walked over and gave a couple a wish too.I was so excited.I was more excited than the people getting the wishes granted.

Just before we docked a little girl walked up to the CM and she was looking at his pins and she told him it was her birthday.The CM said oh it is And pulled out of his big bag a bag of buttons and gave her a button for her birthday and granted her a wish for her birthday,he gave her lunch with the princesses and the little girl's mom began to cry.Then the CM got on his radio,he first asked her does she like cake the little girl said yes.The CM got on the radio and said this is dream 50 and on wish number {what number was} and said that they need to make sure they give her a wish birthday cake,with priority seating,v.i.p. status. I congratulated them while the Mom was in tears. That was so cool. I was wishing that my family could have been there. Now I know what they look like and dress.

My Dad wanted to eat out most of the time,I ate like I was at home,Then he ate late too and no exercise.I walked.
No gym.So when we go up to Disney I am going to either find my gym there or pay to use the the one in the resorts.

The roof is done now we have to wait on the mortgage company to issue the rest of the money to pay the roofer.the roof looks good and today it is raining.But they have to come back and fix the gutter they messed up.

I will finish up my trip report later got to run the inside roof is getting painted and I am allergic to the latex in the paint.It will kill me if I breathe it in.I have a mask to put on.But I am going to leave the house for a while.{ more pictures and info I got while there}

100 Yesterday....

Yesterday was my 100th post.Cool

I will be headed out very early in the am and I won't be back till Friday some time.

I think it is neat that we all are going to be staying and close in the hotels in October.
When I get back I am going to get on track and work hard.

And the roof should be finished by the time I get back!!!!! Explain later.
My mother will be fine,and back on track as well after tomorrow.

Back To School!!!!

The kids started school today.It's nice and quiet here.No yelling he touched me ,she's looking at me funny.What a fashion show school has become.I thought we were bad, but man..... Even in uniforms!!! It's funny.

I have to go back up North to my parents again,and take my Mom to another procedure.It's a small town so you have to travel to go to a regular hospital.Then she won't have to have anything done for a long while.{ I hope}

While I am up there I thought if I left early from their house I could head over and take some of the Magic kingdom before heading home.{smiling}

I may try to use a computer in the local library while there not sure if I can and looking in to getting a lap top computer.Also I have to get a new phone service.Mine doesn't work on the east coast.No service in that area but go to the west of the interstate and there is service.I want an I phone.

Like Kate we got the same rate for two rooms since we are going to have some of E's family here for the race.{ can't wait}

Back In The Saddle....

Saturday is here again.

My mother is well and has new batteries.My Dad is a hard head and I just don't understand him.I was talking to him about going to VA. for Christmas and he just got upset and refused to hear it.And I seriously dout I will be able to get him up and to go.So what do I do??E 's family lives there and He does not get to see them very often and that would be one of the times he could.Plus the kids may get to see snow.{ugh}
He also doesn't understand my mother's illness and just doesn't seem to get it and I feel like I need to go up there now when she has to have stuff done.I don't know what to do.

E" s sister and mother are coming to TOT race.His sister is going to run in it with us.So now we are trying to get adjoining rooms.She found on the TOT site that they are offering the racers a discount on the rooms at pop century.Gonna call about that.And since they are going to be buying tickets, we are going to purchase the dinning plan so we don't have to spend a lot on food. :) sweet.And we all will be going to the NSSHP on Friday Oct.26.

Big Black Cloud

This is a quick update. My Mother is having surgery tomorrow and I am driving up there in the morning.It's suppose to be out patient but we will see.

Training today I got up and went to the gym alone and i tried running on the TM.I made it to 1.90 So nothing else for today and probably the same for tomorrow.I will be back late friday.

The contractor says she has the permit but yet to bring it to us.{GRRRRRR}

Little Black Rain Cloud....

Again, no contact from the contractor.This is really rubbing me wrong.This is no way to run a business. :(

On a happy note we ordered the Mickey wall paper for the bathroom.It will be here in about 2 weeks.

walked the 4 miles tonight. There was to many negative things in the air and I just walked my normal walk and the time was 1.17.33.I was going to run a little but it just didn't work out.I was going to pull the kids running cards tonight.{ugh}

I haven't heard anything on the storm,so I guess it's not as bad as they thought,not sure.But just in case we got water,batteries,and a lot of can stuff.Gas for the grill.All that fun stuff.

Rough Monday Start..

I woke up sore this morning.My calf muscles were sift as all get out.I had to walk around and get the blood moving.They started to feel better.

I was sent home early today and in 8 hours I walked at work 3.00 miles.I was fine with leaving early since all the stuff going on here.By the way the roofer lady never came with the permit today and her excuse was that she got home late from being out of town and didn't make it to city hall. I am not happy with the management park of this whole deal.It's almost done and then I don't have to worry about this any more.

Plus we have a storm out in the ocean and they are already making a big deal out of it and it isn't a named storm yet. :(

WE Did It!!!!!

8 Miles!!!!!!!!! WE did it!!!!!!!! 8 Miles!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!

I am so excited.Towards the end there I was getting excited and I was getting faster.I was seeing the Tower of Terror and there was no stopping me. In the beginning my outer calf muscles were on fire.They didn't loosen up all most 3 miles in to the walk.When we made it back to McDonald's we were at 1.10.00.Then we got back and had to go to the stop sign to make it an 8.1 miles,I ran the last little bit,and our final time was 2.18.55.I use the stop watch on my ipod.And it keeps track of each time I use it.This was the first time that I ever walked that much all at once.

2.18.55!!!!!! That is the first time we have done the whole thing. :)

Meals today we not the best either.I have made up my mind that I have too get back on meal track.

I was so tired yesterday that we didn't go to the gym or walk.It was an off day.I am trying to get up and get in the gym.The men are working on the bathroom and all is moving along here.

Who's The Leader Of The Club Made for You And Me...

Hey there hi there ho there!!!!!

We walked tonight w/o E.He was so tired from work. We did not do the 8 mile. There is a Storm coming lighting was getting close.So w did the 4 miles.Time 1.07.38.We shaved off 3 minutes!!!!!! Kids did awesome.They are going to do well.Me slow and steady bringing up the rear.

Oh yeah E updated his My space go over and check it out.He did good.It's over under my friends.I would like to do this one like that that would be neat.

Hey Look It's A Castle......

This picture of the castle is the first time I have seen it without the 50th Ann. decorations on it.Very cool.

School shopping today.I hate it.Then I outfitted everyone with running attire. The kids are going to start training with us for the TOT Race.I registered them today,wasn't sure if they were really interested,but so far they seem to be.So they are going to the gym with us tonight.They walked yesterday.My son his running style is the rabbit,me I am the turtle,E possible the snowball, my daughter well not sure yet.

E thinks we should just walk this one since we are walking so fast.Maybe run a little.Tomorrow night we will do the entire 8 miles and see how long it will take and try some running.Then just work on getting it better. Tonight try the gym again,bikes and light weights.Kids too.No weights for them.

DinoLand U.S.A.

I feel so much better today.Just a little sore throat.I sent the gym an e mail waiting to hear back from them.

Well I got my results back from my Doctor today.Everything came back normal.So now its all hard work. Got to dump the weight.

Also today I am sending out my first box of clothes and other items to Hope Runs.We are still working on the running shoes.We have 4 pair to send to them.

I also saw that the Tower of Terror Race is 50 % full.And the 6.5 is 75% full.So those out there going get registered!!!!

Congrats to Jonathan on his 51 pounds lost!!!! Keep it up!!!You are doing awesome!!!!
Also Congrats to Byron over on Phat disney geek,he is getting ready to send his first child to Disney !!!!!!!

We walked the 4 miles outside tonight.We did it in 1.10.27 that is 3 minutes slower than when we did it last which was 1.07.10.Its hotter than you know what, muggy as a swimming pool.
E tracked his miles at work today and he did 4.77 miles.

Latex Free

Worked the last two days. Busy as all get out.Tried as you know what.

Sunday walked 5.25 miles.
Today 6.00 miles

Training today:
Running time .84 in 15 minutes and I had to leave.{E ran 1.25 in 16 minutes}
MY eyes were getting tight,my face was getting itchy,my throat was getting real tight.
I ran out the door.
They were painting today in the gym, and we could still smell it.while running, I noticed that My breathing was off,I was stumbling.
Then it dawn on me,There has to be latex in the paint.I have an allergy to latex.Found out a year and a half ago at work.My faced swells up,but never the throat.So now what?? NO gym until they are done painting and it doesn't smell.Should I tell them??Now I am itchy,my neck.{sigh} all I have to do is take some allergy stuff and sleep.I guess it's out doors now.what to do for cross training.{GRRRRRR}

Yes we have a cafe in the hospital I work at Named The Heart healthy Cafe.The food is prepared as stated heart health,and the food is supplied from Whole foods.That is what I was told 3 .5 years ago.

Just Another Day

Well I will start with friday.Another busy day at work. This time the pedometer did good.I didn't reset it or bumped it.IN 12 hours I walked 5.79 miles.

After I got home we went out to dinner and then E and I went Hot Wheels hunting.He found a few that he didn't have or needed for customs.Didn't get in till 1:30a.

Meals {friday}
B: cereal,yogurt,tea
L: pizza,{personal size} carrot cake,all from the heart healthy cafe}
D: Fridays I had chicken tenders,fries,spinach dip.


B: 2 egg omlete with cheese.chocolate milk
S: 1/3 c mixed nuts,vitamin water.
D: chicken quesadeas homemade.

Gym :
TM 30 minutes, 1.84.I walked the most of this I just wasn't in it today.
TM E 30 minutes 2.52.
Bike random hills,5.30 miles
Bike E random hills,5.74 miles in 20 minutes.

I know I have to get in gear and I'm just not in it today,but I got out there and did it anyway.
So all have a great weekend!!!!!!Back to the work house in the AM.Should I count the mileage from work for my monthly total????

Wild Day...

I worked today and wore my pedometer. At 10: 30 a it said 2.00 miles.Then I hit the darn reset button.Ok Well then a little later it said 1.39 miles,again I leaned on something and hit the reset button.Just before I clocked out it said 1.69 miles.So at work I did about 5.08 miles.I know when I work at the end of the long hall way I end up around 7-9 miles,so there is no telling how many times the darn thing was reset.

L: salad cheese,turkey,tomato,dressing,water
D: spagetti,with veggies,milk.
S: splurge cheese cake!!!!! Only a half of a half.

Training not tonight to tired.Got to get to bed very busy day tomorrow at work again.{sigh}
