Another One Bites The Dust.....

Well how is everyone doing? All well I hope.

I have a crazy gym story for all.
I went to the gym to do my sprints. Then dreadmill I normally use was full. So I use the older ones. I started out pretty good. I went to jump to the side and guess what. You will never guess.. Really guess.... ready..... I missed and fell off the dredmill!!!! Yes not a type o I fell. E got the the thing to stop and I went down on my right knee. Skinned it pretty good. I assessed myself before I got up. No pain, No aches, ok get up. Still no pain. So I got up and I started over and I finished!!! The first ten sprints, I did at speed 6.0, then the last ten at speed 6.2. Still no pain. But I am icing down the knee, for that tomorrow ache. The one that waits till the next day.

Food is good. My calories are now at 1300 daily. Not as hard to make.
Tomorrow I am off but I have to go to a meeting. Yuck.:(

It is official!!!
Crystal Palace Jan.9 2009, Friday before the race 5:05p. I am going to try to get more seats.I have 2 left out of 12.

Oh God! You fell? Are you sure you're alright? I hope so, because I will feel like a total A double S for laughing! Ha!!

If it's any consolation: I fell down the stairs the other day with a huge glass of coke in my hand. My feet shot out from under me and the next thing I know, I'm at the bottom of the stairs. There was coke everywhere! Only damage was my pride (and my sides from laughing so hard!).

P.S. Thanks for the workouts. You didn't confuse me, but if I have questions I'll let you know!

P.S.S. Are you counting me in the Crystal Palace meet? I am almost 90% sure I'll be able to make it.

Great job jumping back on the horse...er...the treadmill.

See! I'm tellin' ya, I never got hurt when sitting down on the couch! Another reason why I think we're nuts to be exercising so much ;-) Great job brushing it off and getting on with the show. You look like a runner up there for sure.

I haven't replied on the Crystal Palace meet as I haven't heard back from the friend who's travelling with me. I suppose I'll just play it by ear and if you still have seats and I hear back...yada yada... Although I do want to meet up with y'all in MK so we can get a group HM ride!

Run-wise, doing okay...slowed down a bit this month, but my body is telling me that I need to if I want to long-term this thing. Big 10 mile race next week, Friday 25th. Wish me luck ;-)

Ouch! Are you okay?! It's one of my biggest fears - falling off the treadmill. I try not to think about it when I'm running, but then I have a flash of me tripping over my feet and falling off the back and into one of the machines behind!

Are you doing okay now, though? Glad to hear that it doesn't sound like anything serious!

And GOOD LUCK for next Friday!!! You have to let us know how you do - although I have no doubt that you're going to do brilliantly!!

Ok all I could think of is that master card commercial with Mr.Bill.

Glad to hear you are ok. See another reason to hate the dreadmill

Hope your knee is still doing well. Great job on the the speed.

A 6 on the treadmill at snap is a 10 min mile. Sure yours is too.

Fantastic job Rae keep up the great work!
